Empire Cleaning Services was founded in 2021 by Leah and Chris Jordan, right here in Spokane, Washington. What started as a bold leap of faith from a young family has grown into a business built on hard work, heart, and a relentless commitment to doing things the right way. Every decision we make; from who we hire to how we clean, reflects the values we hold as a family and the pride we take in serving our community.
Humble Beginings
Leah & Chris
Empire Cleaning Services was born out of necessity, courage, and a whole lot of love. In 2021, just two months after our first son Calvin came into the world, we made a decision that changed everything for our young family. Working 60+ hours a week with no control of her schedule was not something Leah wanted to go back to. So she bet on herself and started Empire Cleaning Services.
Shortly after, Chris left his job too. No safety net, no outside funding — just two people, a baby, and a belief that if we could do this
The early days weren't glamorous. We did every cleaning ourselves, trading off watching the kids so the other could work. When the cleaning was done, the work wasn't — evenings went to scheduling, marketing, and everything else that comes with running a business. We bootstrapped it all, built our systems from scratch, and figured things out as we went.
Those systems are the same foundation that powers Empire today. We weren't just surviving. We were building something that works.

We're just getting started. What began on late nights with a baby on our hip has grown into something we're incredibly proud of — and we have no intention of slowing down. Our focus now is on refining the systems and processes we've built, strengthening our team culture, and expanding Empire Cleaning Services beyond Spokane. We believe the model we've created works, and we're ready to prove it.
